Monday, February 23, 2015, 2015:  Make It Mighty – Webinar with Guest, Marla Gottschalk @ 10:00am – 11:00am PST

In Mighty Midsized Companies, a new book by Robert Sher, Chapter 7 focuses on how to avoid Tolerating Dysfunctional Leaders.  Having a strong, high-performing leadership team in place is critical to growth and to overcoming the other silent killers—or better yet, avoiding them in the first place.  This February 23rd webinar is interactive, with live polling and audience questions which Rob and his guest, Dr. Marla Gottschalk will answer during the session.

Organizations must not tolerate high-maintenance leaders or those that are consistently under-performers—regardless of their popularity. Leaders must regularly assess the strength of the leadership team, and strive to reduce the range between the lowest and highest achieving performers.

As our businesses make the transition from small to midsized our workplaces evolves. Priorities can shift and we must pay attention to the shifts in how we are working to remain effective.  Dr. Gottschalk is an Industrial and Organizational Psychologist and her key objective is to help leaders, managers and individual contributors adapt to evolving workplaces with confidence and a sense of empowerment. She is an avid blogger on a variety of workplace topics, including leadership and organizational development. Her work has appeared at Forbes, US News & World Report, the World Economic Forum and other outlets worldwide. For the past 2 years she has served as a LinkedIn Influencer. Between Robert and Marla, there will be a wealth of research and experience to offer our webinar participants !

Dysfunctional leaders cannot be tolerated if you want to grow to midsized. You can’t afford to avert your eyes from this reality.  You need to prepare for it and you need to address it.
