Robert presented a point of view around linking CEO compensation to performance and led a discussion of the 30 CEOs attending about their own experiences and perceptions.
He conducted some anonymous live polling about their opinions and issues, and the results of that poll are attached. The event was organized and produced by the Alliance of Chief Executives. After the brief presentation and discussion, Robert facilitated one of three breakout groups digging into real case studies brought by the attendees to gather feedback from their peers. One key takeaway has become the subject of Rob’s Forbes.com column (with the attendee’s explicit permission).
