Building Dynamic Operating Plans for Fast Changing Organizations

May 17, 2013.   Palo Alto, CA.   CICC.  You’re invited to a roundtable discussion with your fellow CEOs, Founders and Top Team Executives about simple planning that keeps executives focused, tracking their progress and working in concert toward common goals.

Fast moving early and mid stage companies can’t do big company planning—it’s too slow.  But as soon as there is a small team, being clear on what the priorities are and what work should be done first is essential.  Simple operating plans, tracking progress and staying appropriately focused does not have to be cumbersome.  If the CEO is to be free for innovation, he or she must know that the rest of the team is getting the right things done each day.  Yet many founder-CEOs don’t naturally organize and plan, and it falls to their senior leaders.

This workshop focuses on flexible, agile planning systems that will increase coordination and results, while allowing plan resets quickly and easily.  These skills are scalable as the company grows, with increasing formality and structure as needed.

Friday, May 17, 2013.    8:00 AM – 11:00 AM.     Breakfast will be provided.
Event Location:  Bank Leumi    2000 University Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94303.
RSVP Details: This event is only open to CEOs, Founders and Top Team Executives. Space is limited.
Attendance by advance registration only.

This is the second of a four part series of Roundtable events and is a service to the members and prospective members of the California Israel Chamber of Commerce (CICC).  Stepping up your game as a growth company top executive is a prerequisite to your success and your company’s success. Investors and acquirers look first to the strength of the top team.  This series focuses in on the unique skills required to run high growth and mid-sized companies – skills that are often very different than those required for success with big companies. This series of four workshops builds the skills of high growth and mid-market CEOs and their top teams.
